Buying a home can be overwhelming, especially for a first time home buyer. And moving is never really easy for anybody! One of my key responsibilities as your real estate agent is to make your experience a smooth one.

Below are just a few of my responsibilities working with you on the purchase of your home.

  • Walk you through the process of purchasing your home from beginning to closing.

  • Provide comparable information about the prices for which other properties have sold near your selected home.

  • Provide contacts to local mortgage representatives.
    I recommend speaking to at least 2 or 3 mortgage representatives, even if you have a friend in the business. It could save you thousands of dollars over the life of the mortgage.

  • Visit potential homes.
    If it takes the 1st house or the 81st house until we find the one, I'm happy to know I'll be part of your experience finding the perfect home for you and your family.

  • Supply information regarding local customs and regulations you may not be aware of.

  • Alert you to potential risks.

  • Negotiate an offer with the seller or seller's agent.
    It is important to understand that finding a home is just the beginning. Buying a home almost always involves negotiations between the buyer and seller. Getting the best possible price for a home calls for a skilled negotiator, educated and experienced in real estate transactions.

  • Comply with the disclosures required by law.

  • Provide you with an estimate of the closing costs you will incur.

  • Attend home inspection with you and the seller's agent and negotiate any requests for repairs.

  • Closely monitor all negotiated dates within the Purchase & Sale Agreement.

  • Help prepare you for a smooth closing.
